The BackPack Groom ‘N Vac is the first back pack electric groomer and multi-purpose vacuum cleaner system for people with horses. With it you can groom your horse or pony, remove hair from rugs and numnahs and vacuum your tack/feed room or horsebox. Electric Grooming - deep down cleaning
Nothing gives a better finish than the BackPack Groom ‘N Vac (except hours of elbow grease!). This is the first electric groomer you wear like a ruck sack. It has an ergonomically designed, adjustable harness and at just 3.8kg is so comfortable and light you hardly know it’s there. Perfect for showing and preparing for competitions and it’s a real time saver for all riders and grooms. The BackPack Groom ‘N Vac is invaluable in the moulting seasons when horses change their coats and for getting the coat really clean prior to clipping.
The machine is mains operated and comes with two grooming brushes: a body brush for deep down cleaning and shine and a mane brush to detangle even the thickest of manes. A curry brush is available separately.
Therapeutic grooming
The BackPack Groom ‘N Vac is great for horse welfare. Few people have the time these days to give a horse a traditional "strapping" or "wisping". An electric groomer quickly removes scurf, dirt and dust from the coat and the grooming action massages the horse, helping to promote good muscle tone, improved circulation and rapid coat shine, leaving a really silky finish. Given a gentle and diplomatic introduction to the electric groomer, most horses quickly get used to and enjoy the sensation. (Some even go to sleep!). The new adjustable speed setting means you can start off with a quieter setting. In hot weather the vacuuming opens the pores and helps cool the horse. In cold weather you can avoid those chilly baths. The unit is quiet and unobtrusive, hidden away behind your back. The flex is well out of the way and there are no trailing tubes or anything for you or the horse to trip over so you can concentrate on grooming. You can even use the electric groomer to groom your dog!

Nobody likes the dust and hair raised by grooming a muddy horse but it is a serious problem for people suffering from horse hair or dust allergies and asthma.
